Florian Schuhbauer is founding partner of Active Ownership Capital (AOC) and has more than 20 years of relevant experience. He started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson with positions in risk management and equity research. Afterwards he built up Newtron AG, a software company that developed software to optimize strategic sourcing processes, which subsequently has been sold successfully. He then became CFO and Executive Vice President of DHL Global Mail in the US, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG. As Partner and Portfolio Manager at General Capital Group / Active Value Investors, Mr. Schuhbauer was responsible for investments with a combined value in excess of €1.5 billion. Prior to establishing AOC, Mr. Schuhbauer was Partner at Triton Partners where he built up the Public Equity practice.
Florian Schuhbauer holds a Masters in Finance and Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
Klaus Röhrig is founding partner of Active Ownership Capital (AOC) and has more than 15 years of relevant investing experience. He is also founder of the investment company 3R Investments Ltd., serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Francotyp Postalia AG since 2013 and is Non-Executive Director of the European mid-cap company BAMED MAM Group. BAMED MAM is owned by the Röhrig family and owns the baby product brand MAM. Klaus Röhrig started his career at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, focusing on corporate finance and M&A for technology companies. At Elliott Associates, he was responsible for the funds’ investments in the German speaking countries. Throughout his career he focused on identifying investment opportunities, structuring of investments and process-driven value creation.
Klaus Röhrig holds a Master of Economics and Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
Jan Klopp joined Active Ownership Capital in November 2017 and is responsible for the management and oversight of finance, operations and corporate governance in Luxembourg.Jan has more than 16 years experience in the Luxembourg Asset Management and Private Equity market. As an audit Partner with KPMG Luxembourg he was responsible for a portfolio of German and international clients including management companies, investment funds and AIFMs. In the legal department of a Swiss bank he was the contact for all legal questions regarding Luxembourg fund products. Jan has worked across various industries in the financial sector and his wide ranging experience includes risk management, compliance and corporate governance.Jan Klopp is a qualified Réviseur d´Entreprises in Luxemburg. He holds a degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the University of Trier with Major in Audit and Controlling and speaks German, English and French.
